Magento performanceWith Magento, the execution time is more than twice as fast with PHP 7.3 compared to PHP 5.6, and the memory comsumption is 30 % lower. A web server running on php7 will be able to serve up to 3 times as many requests as on php 5.6.
Drupal will run 72% faster on PHP 7.
WordPress will run 2-3 times faster on PHP 7.3. One WordPress request on PHP 5.6 executes just under 100M CPU instructions, while PHP 7 only executes 25M to do the same job.

How to switch to PHP 7

In order to switch to PHP 7, obviously, your website need to be hosted on a web server (or web hosting service) that allows you to run PHP 7. If you are one of our happy clients, switching is very easy. Just log in to the #EasierHosting control panel and go to Advanced > PHP Configuration:

    PHP 7.1 has also been released and it is available on lots of hosting providers right now. Cloudways php hosting provider has also recently integrated PHP 7.1 to their platform.

      You can always choose the latest PHP-version with us, currently PHP 7.3.
